Matthew Morris is an assistant professor of instruction in management at the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin.

Morris has also taught communications and rhetoric topics at Texas State University in San Marcos and St. Edward’s University in Austin.

He earned a doctorate in communication studies at The University of Texas at Austin, with a dissertation on Virtual Movements: Populist Rhetoric, Technology, and Hegemony. He completed an M.A. in human communication at Arizona State University and a B.A. at Louisiana State University in Shreveport.
