The Energy Ventures Practicum
Graduate student teams in business, policy, engineering, and science create real-world energy ventures based on pitched ideas. This hands-on entrepreneurship course addresses energy industry challenges and offers practical experience. Join the new generation of entrepreneurs who are developing the path-breaking innovations that will define the next era in energy! -
Energy Technology & Policy
Designed to give students an understanding of the broad context of energy production and consumption in the U.S. and the world. Discusses past energy trends and fundamentals of energy and power, including fossil fuels and renewable energy sources and technologies. -
Global Energy Transactions
Students will perform a full cycle analysis of a net zero-carbon natural gas development for a country outside of the U.S. Teams will work together to evaluate geologic information, analyze the fiscal terms offered by the host government, analyze the legal regime, determine and quantify the risks associated with an investment, and propose a full cycle CCUS pilot project. -
Energy Development & Policy
Interdisciplinary course explores the legal, business, and technical aspects of energy development and entrepreneurship. Focuses on five real-world project sites including wind, solar, and natural gas. Students will work in teams to develop project proposals and present to an investment panel.
