Alumni of UT Austin have gone on to launch successful companies in a variety of industries, including technology, healthcare, and consumer products.

The University of Texas at Austin provides students with a strong foundation in entrepreneurship, enabling them to pursue their passions and make an impact in the business world. Graduates of the University are equipped with the skills and knowledge to start their own businesses or join innovative startups. The University provides a comprehensive education in entrepreneurship that includes courses in ideation, opportunity recognition, venture finance, and growth strategies.

 

Some notable Longhorn founders include John Mackey, the founder and CEO of Whole Foods Market, and Michael Dell, the founder and CEO of Dell Technologies.

    Nate is a Space Industrial Electrical Engineer for Lunar Resources, Inc., a space tech startup founded in Houston, TX in 2018. The mission of thev company is to develop and commercialize space manufacturing and resource extraction technologies to catalyze the Space economy.

    Flora is the CEO, Founder, and Artistic Director for FLORAL SEA. Originating as a daydream, FLORAL SEA is an American contemporary luxury fashion house and multidisciplinary design studio revolutionizing a new point-of-view in sustainable fashion that's centered on highlighting Black-Latinx beauty, style, and culture.
