Cameron Cler is a lecturer of marketing at The University of Texas at Austin’s McCombs School of Business, teaching about data for business influence. She also teaches at the MIT Sloan School of Business on topics including persuading with data, mindful leadership, and negotiations and boundary setting.
Cler teaches UT students how to use data to create persuasive arguments and facilitate storytelling. The focus of her course is to impactfully apply data to any scenario, such as applying for a job, presenting research, managing a project team, or negotiating within a business context, and apply techniques to influence toward a desired outcome.
Cler is an operator, entrepreneur and educator. She currently leads the North America Strategy & Business Operations team for Culture Amp, a market-leading employee experience platform. Rooted in the tech industry, her background and skills include experience in growing companies (Culture Amp, NextRoll & Fact0ry), starting companies (WellMode), transacting and acquiring companies (PwC M&A), and investing in early-stage companies (Underscore VC).
She earned an MBA in entrepreneurship and innovation from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics at the University of California, Berkeley.
