Chris Kroeger

Chris Kroeger is a lecturer at The University of Texas at Austin’s McCombs School of Business, where he teaches for the McCombs Master of Science in Marketing program. He also works on the MSM Advisory Council and has previously served as the council’s first chair. Prior to teaching at McCombs, he taught marketing at Texas Christian University.
Kroeger had a 25-year career with Sabre, a $3 billion global provider of technology and marketplace solutions for the travel industry, where he held a variety of senior sales, general management, marketing, and board roles. During his last four years as Sabre’s chief marketing officer, Kroeger led a team responsible for the company’s worldwide strategy, solutions portfolio, and brand.
Additionally, Kroeger is now a partner in and past board member of Social Venture Partners of Dallas, an organization focused on helping nonprofits drive greater impact in their communities through strengthened business effectiveness. He also serves as the first board chair for the newly combined Healthy Futures of Texas, and he serves on the board of the Rutledge Cancer Foundation.
Kroeger earned BBA and MBA degrees from Texas McCombs.
