Hemant Chhajwani is a lecturer at The University of Texas at Austin’s McCombs School of Business, teaching courses for the Department of Finance, with a focus on real estate.

Chhajwani is a principal of Chhajwani Investment Group, a family investment fund that owns and manages a portfolio of direct, syndicated, and fund investments focused on real estate, private credit, and private equity. In his role, he is responsible for capital allocation, portfolio strategy, and sourcing/originating investment opportunities.

Chhajwani has previously worked at The Home Depot, Ernst & Young, RBC Capital Markets, and RSM McGladrey in various management roles focused on corporate strategy, valuation, and mergers & acquisitions.

He earned a BBA in finance and accounting from Emory University and an MBA in finance from Texas McCombs.
