Prateek Shah is a lecturer for the University of Texas at Austin’s McCombs School of Business. He teaches Business Finance (FIN 357) for the school’s Department of Finance. Shah is also managing director for Coherent Economics, which provides litigation support, analysis, and expert testimony for clients in legal and regulatory disputes.

Shah has over eighteen years of experience providing consulting services to companies and government agencies. His practice focuses on corporate finance and valuation, intellectual property, and securities disputes, and his experience spans a wide array of industries including financial institutions, energy, high-tech, retail, and pharmaceuticals.

Shah earned Bachelor of Business Administration and Master’s in Professional Accounting degrees at Texas McCombs, and a Bachelor of Arts (economics), also from UT Austin. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.
