Terri Holbrook, a licensed CPA in the state of Colorado, received her BBA in Accounting from Baylor University in 1983 and her Masters in Taxation from University of Texas at Arlington, in 1991. Ms. Holbrook practiced public accounting for 16 years, advancing to tax partner in the Denver office of BDO. Ms. Holbrook then left public accounting to join Thomas Weisel Partners Investment Bank as a Director, where she worked for 10 years before she began teaching accounting and taxation, first at University of Delaware. She started teaching in the McCombs School in 2011 in the MPA program. Her teaching interests include taxation, with expertise in partnerships, flow-through entities and private wealth management. She has helped create and teaches in the Wealth Management program at McCombs.
Ms. Holbrook is an avid cyclist, enjoys yoga, golf, and plays the piano. She lives with her husband in downtown Austin.
