Xinxin Wang

Xinxin Wang is an assistant professor of finance at The University of Texas at Austin’s McCombs School of Business. She teaches courses on entrepreneurial finance.
Wang’s research interests include corporate finance, entrepreneurship, innovation, venture capital, and industrial organization. Her work aims to understand the relationship between financial markets and real economic output through examining how the changing landscape of entrepreneurial finance affects decision making.
Prior to joining McCombs, Wang was an assistant professor of finance at the UCLA Anderson School of Management and the University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler Business School.
Wang earned a Ph.D. in finance from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley. She also holds a B.S. in applied mathematics and a B.A. in economics from UT.
