Asia

Bangkok, Thailand

Thammasat University is the second oldest university in Thailand and is one of Thailand's leading institutions of higher learning. The university is located in Bangkok, a city with a long history of cultural heritage, economic dynamism and social diversity.

There is no prior language requirement, as many Thammasat courses are taught in English.

Hong Kong, S.A.R. (CUHK)

The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) ranks among the top five universities in Asia and top 50 in the World. Located on a spacious, green, and hilly campus, CUHK offers a unique fusion of Eastern and Western cultures.

There is no prior language requirement, as many CUHK courses are taught in English.

Hong Kong, S.A.R. (HKUST)

The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) is located within 30 minutes from Hong Kong's metropolitan and culturally-rich downtown. Exchange students have the opportunity to study for a semester in one of the most popular destinations in Asia while earning UT credit.

There is no prior language requirement, as many HKUST courses are taught in English.

Hong Kong, S.A.R. (Supply Chain)

The Hong Kong Short-Term Program lets you follow a series of products through their supply chain, from store to source. Beginning in an Austin area Target and ending in mainland China, you’ll have the trip of a lifetime while earning six UT credits at the prestigious Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Seoul, Republic of Korea

Seoul National University (SNU) of South Korea offers a rich learning environment in one of the world's largest cities. Seoul, located on the Han River, has a population of more than 10 million inhabitants and truly has something for everyone.

Students with advanced Korean language skills may take regular university courses alongside local students. Students can also choose from a variety of regular university courses, which are taught in English.

Singapore

The National University of Singapore (NUS) is one of the top universities in Asia. NUS offers a global approach to education and research, with a focus on Asian perspectives and expertise.

Singapore is a modern, island city-state, which enjoys a tropical rainforest climate. There is no prior language requirement, as many NUS courses are taught in English.

Europe

Barcelona, Spain

The ESADE School of Business is ranked 7th among European business schools and 18th in the world. Located in beautiful Barcelona on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea, ESADE is surrounded by culture, history, art, architecture and sporting events.

Advanced understanding of Spanish is required for BBA exchanges.

Bath, England, UK

The University of Bath has over 12,000 students from over 100 countries. The School of Management has over 2,100 students and is one of the UK's leading business schools.

Bath is located in Southwest England, about 100 miles west of London. It is home to the world-famous Roman Baths, The Circus, the Jane Austen Centre, and the Holburne Museum of Art.

Bilbao, Spain

The Universidad de Deusto in Bilbao is one of the most distinguished and prestigious academic institutions in Spain.

Dueusto offers two academic tracks with a wide choice of courses:

  1. Spanish Language and Culture program
  2. Business/International Relations and Spanish program

Copenhagen, Denmark

The Copenhagen Business School (CBS) was established in 1917. CBS is one of Europe's largest business schools with 16,000 students and over 1,000 exchange students from 367 partner schools.

Copenhagen is one of Europe’s major architecture and design capitals, and has a vibrant culture and nightlife. It consistently ranks as one of the most livable cities in the world

Edinburgh, Scotland, UK

The alma mater of Charles Darwin, The University of Edinburgh is located in one of the most charming locations in northern Europe. This exchange program is especially of interest to students Engineering, Law, and Business.

Edinburgh is a historic, cultured city with stunning Georgian and Victorian architecture and winding medieval streets.

Edinburgh, Scotland, UK (Business Law)

With a history that spans more than four centuries, the University of Edinburgh is rich in both history and in natural beauty. McCombs students will earn 6 UT credits by taking a 5-week course from the University’s Business Law Program. See what life is like at one of the world’s most prestigious and popular schools.

Jouy en Josas, France

Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC) is one of the top business schools in Europe and has been ranked #1 in France. It is located in Jouy en Josas, a suburb 10 miles from the center of Paris and a couple of miles from Versailles.

There is no prior language requirement, as many HEC courses are taught in English.

Limerick, Ireland

The University of Limerick is located in Limerick City in the Shannon region of Ireland. Located two and a half hours west of Dublin, Limerick is well-situated for exploring other parts of the country. The beautiful west coast of the country, Mountshannon, the Burren and the Cliffs of Moher are all easily accessible.

Limerick is also known as "Sports City," with excellent sports facilities and plenty of opportunities to participate in and watch Irish sporting events.

London, England, UK

Widely regarded as the financial capital of the world, London is the perfect destination for business students looking to broaden their horizons. If you’re looking for a summer abroad that will be both fun and enlightening, attending the London School of Economics through the BBA is a great way to find it. This is a BBA Short Term Summer option.

Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium

The Universite Catholique de Louvain (UCL) was founded in 1425; it is one of the oldest and most respected universities in Belgium.

Located in in the town of Louvain-La-Neuve, twenty miles south of Brussels, UCL is a pedestrian-friendly environment with a notable nightlife that is famous throughout Belgium.

Madrid, Spain

Study for a semester or academic year at the Universidad Pontificia Comillas, one of Spain's leading universities. This exchange program will be of interest to students specifically in Business, Government, and International Relations and Global Studies.

Pontificia Comillas courses are taught in Spanish, so advanced knowledge of the language is required.

Europe (Continued)

Milan, Italy

The Universita Commerciale Luigi Bocconi in Milan, Italy is of interest to students specifically in Law and Business. Considered Italy's leading economics and business academic institution and among the top 25 business school in Europe, Bocconi is a private university offering degrees in business, economics and law.

There is no prior language requirement, as many Bocconi courses are taught in English.

Oslo, Norway

The BI Norwegian School of Management is one of Norway’s leading institutions in finance, strategic management, marketing, and entrepreneurship. Known as the cultural capital of Norway, Oslo offers a rich cultural scene and many exciting opportunities for adventure.

There is no prior language requirement, as many BI courses are taught in English.

Paris, France (ESCP)

Ecole Superieure de Commerce de Paris (ESCP) is among the top three business schools in France. ESCP’s prime location in Paris, France allows students to fully experience the city’s beautiful parks and gardens, world class museums, historical landmarks, excellent cuisine, and incredible nightlife

There is no prior language requirement, as many ESCP courses are taught in English.

Prague, Czech Republic (VSE)

Founded in 1953, The University of Economics (VSE) in Prague is the leading university in the field of management and economics in the Czech Republic.

Prague, the Czech Republic's largest city, is located on the Vltava River in central Bohemia and is home to more than 1.2 million people. A cultural hotspot, Prague’s art galleries, concert halls, music and film festivals, and architecture are praised the world over.

Prague, Czech Republic (International Accounting)

The University of Economics, Prague is a leader in the fields of management and economics. Situated in the heart of Czech Republic’s capital city, students accepted into this program will have a close-up look at a political economic, and cultural center that has endured for more than 1000 years.

Rotterdam, Netherlands

The Rotterdam School of Management (RSM) is ranked among Europe's top ten business schools. Together with Amsterdam, the vibrant and beautiful city of Rotterdam forms a metropolitan area of over 7 million inhabitants.

There is no prior language requirement, as many RSM courses are taught in English.

St. Gallen, Switzerland

This exchange program will be of interest to students in Business and Law. There is no language requirement for this program, as many courses are taught in English.

St. Gallen Universitat is ranked 25th in Europe and 1st in German-speaking Europe. Close to the Austrian and German borders and nestled close to the Swiss Alps, few campuses boast a more picturesque backdrop than St. Gallen.

Vallendar, Germany

Founded in 1984, WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management has developed into the best and most respected center of business education in Germany.

Located in the small, lively city of Vallendar and surrounded by hills adorned with castles, towers and vineyards, WHU is the perfect setting for those seeking an authentic German experience outside of the big cities.

Vienna, Austria

With about 20,000 students from Austria and abroad, Wirtschaftsuniversitat Wien (WU) is among Europe's top 50 business schools and is the EU's largest institution for business and economics, business law, and social sciences. WU is located in Vienna, a city rich in history, architecture, and music.

There is no prior language requirement, as many courses are taught in English; students have the opportunity to study in Vienna for a semester or year.

North America

Austin, Texas (Global Business Leadership Institute)

Global Business Leadership Institute offers a four-week summer program that invites students from 11 top-ranked universities worldwide to join UT students to collaborate and compete in the international marketplace. Participants will earn six business credits while being guided through a carefully designed experiential learning process.

Queretaro, Mexico

ITESM Queretaro is one of the top universities in Mexico and offers a rich learning environment in a vibrant, mid-sized city. Queretaro is not only charming, but it is also known as one of the cleanest and safest cities in Mexico.

Students with advanced Spanish language skills may take regular university courses alongside local students. Students can also choose from a variety of university courses taught in English.

Oceania

Canberra, Australia

Study on exchange at Australian National University (ANU) located in Australia's capital, Canberra—one of the most fun and active cities in the nation!

Established in 1946, ANU is one of Australia's most research-intensive and highly ranked universities. Ranked among the top 20 universities worldwide, ANU has approximately 14,400 students, 3,400 of whom are internationals from 106 countries.

Dunedin, New Zealand

The University of Otago has earned an international reputation for the quality of its research and teaching. Located in New Zealand's commercial capital, Dunedin, the campus is surrounded by one of the best preserved Victorian and Edwardian cities in the Southern hemisphere.

Dunedin's harbor is ideal for a variety of water sports including yachting, kayaking, and fishing. With 4 million people, New Zealand is one of the least crowded countries in the world

Sydney, Australia

UT-Austin students have the opportunity to study on exchange at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) located in Sydney, Australia. Founded in 1949, UNSW is a leading research university in the Australasia region, and has over 40,000 students, 30 to 40% of whom are international.

UNSW's main campus is located just 4 miles from the center of Sydney and is a 20-minute walk to Coogee beach.

South America

Buenos Aires, Argentina (CBHP Management)

The Buenos Aires BHP Management program is open only to Canfield Business Honors students with a GPA of 3.25 or higher. Accepted students will have the opportunity to earn CBHP credit at the Universidad de San Andres and experience the colorful, lively atmosphere of the city around it.

Buenos Aires, Argentina (International Accounting)

Often called the “Paris of Latin America,” Buenos Aires is a frequent destination for travelers seeking an exciting, festive cultural experience. Join the McCombs MPA at the Universidad de San Andres for a summer session and earn 6 UT credits while experiencing one of the world’s most vibrant cities.

Santiago, Chile

Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile (PUC) offers UT students the opportunity to take a variety of university courses. Most PUC classes are taught in Spanish; an intensive pre-semester in Spanish is available for additional language preparation.

PCU is located in Santiago, the capital of Chile. With a population of more than 6 million, Santiago offers a cultural experience students will never forget.

São Paulo, Brazil

Founded in 1954, Fundacao Getulio Vargas (FGV) established Brazil's first bachelor’s program in business administration and has become the only Brazilian institution to join the ranks of the top 50 business schools in the world.

There is a foreign language requirement for this exchange program, as the number of courses taught in English at FGV is limited.
