Fund Your Way through the Honors Program

We're committed to making McCombs affordable for all students and want to help you find answers to your questions about paying for college.

All Honors Students Get a Shot at Our Scholarships

Canfield BHP has a limited number of merit-based scholarships available. Every admitted student is considered for these scholarships; there is no separate application. We’ll notify recipients by March 15 of their award amount.

Please note, Canfield BHP merit-based scholarships do not apply to UT-wide financial aid or scholarships.

  • Score University-Wide and Alumni Scholarships

There are also other types of scholarships for incoming freshmen. You can read more about the various scholarships available on the UT Austin Financial Aid website. Scholarships from UT’s alumni association, the Texas Exes are also available for incoming freshmen, including the prestigious Forty Acres Scholarship.
  • Explore Your Options for Financial Aid

Each year UT Austin awards over $500 million dollars in financial aid. To be considered for grants, loans, and work-study positions offered by the University, you need to fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). All need-based financial aid is awarded based on your FAFSA information, and all students are highly encouraged to apply.
