The Center for Analytics and Transformative Technologies (CATT) serves as a forum to initiate dialogue and exchange ideas between academia and industry, foster collaborations on research, and develop applied projects that can engage industry executives, UT faculty, and students.


Center for Business, Technology and Law

Created in 1987, the objective of this center is to conduct and facilitate research into problems arising at the point of intersection between managerial decision making and legal or regulatory constraints.


Center for Research in Electronic Commerce

The Center for Research in Electronic Commerce (CREC) was established in 1989 to provide a focal point for innovative research into the effective development, use, and management of computer and communication technologies by organizations in today’s global, competitive marketplace. Its goal is to facilitate a match between academic research and the problems faced by today’s corporations and government agencies in exploiting the vast array of information technologies now available.


Center for Risk Management and Insurance

The mission of the Center is to be the premier independent research resource for public policy decision makers within the state of Texas concerning issues related to risk and its analysis and management and for insurance research in general.


Supply Chain Management Center

Originally established in 2001 as the SCM Consortium, the Supply Chain Management Center brings together executives from leading corporations with Texas faculty and students to identify, document, research, develop and disseminate best practices in Supply Chain Management.
