    Placing a high value on both research and teaching, the IROM Department’s nationally ranked programs include Undergraduate, Graduate and Ph.D. options. IROM faculty research can be seen in a variety of well-known publications.

AFFILIATED CENTERS & INITIATIVES

Center for Analytics and Transformative Technologies

The Center for Analytics and Transformative Technologies (CATT) serves as a forum to initiate dialogue and exchange ideas between academia and industry, foster collaborations on research, and develop applied projects that engage industry executives, UT faculty, and students.

Center for Business, Technology, and Law

The objective of the Center for Business, Technology, and Law is to conduct and facilitate research into problems arising at the point of intersection between managerial decision-making and legal or regulatory constraints.

Center for Research in Electronic Commerce

The Center for Research in Electronic Commerce (CREC) provides a focal point for innovative research into the effective development, use, and management of computer and communication technologies in today’s global, competitive marketplace. Its goal is to facilitate a match between academic research and the problems faced by today’s corporations and government agencies in exploiting the vast array of information technologies now available.

Center for Risk Management and Insurance

The Center for Risk Management and Insurance mission is to be the premier independent research resource for public policy decision-makers within the state of Texas concerning issues related to risk and its analysis and management and for insurance research in general.

Supply Chain Management Center

The Supply Chain Management Center brings together executives from leading corporations with Texas faculty and students to identify, document, research, develop and disseminate best practices in Supply Chain Management.
